Poland's 'Lex Charlatan' law heads to president for signature — fines up to 1 million zloty for pseudomedicine

Poland's Ministry of Health expects the president to sign the so-called Lex Charlatan bill, which introduces fines of up to one million zloty for promoting pseudomedicine and health misinformation. The law is designed to protect patients from bogus "miracle therapies" and unreliable medical claims. The ministry is not preparing any alternative legislation, banking on presidential approval.
