Polish mass layoffs drop 32% year-on-year — 11,600 people dismissed in first half

Mass layoffs in Poland affected 11,600 workers in the first half of the current year, a 32 percent drop compared with the same period last year, according to data released by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy in response to a parliamentary question.
