Anastazja Kuś wins U20 400m world title in Eugene — her mother reacts

19-year-old Polish sprinter Anastazja Kuś won the U20 World Championship gold medal in the 400 metres in Eugene, USA. Her American rival adopted a different tactical approach but faded in the final after spending energy in the heats. Kuś's mother Alicja said her daughter accelerated in the closing stretch and finished several metres clear of the runner-up.
