Ervebo vaccine may protect against rarer Ebola strain spreading in DR Congo
WHO experts say early data, including animal trial results, suggest the Ervebo vaccine — already proven safe and effective against the Zaire strain of Ebola — may also offer some protection against the rarer Bundibugyo strain now spreading in DR Congo. The vaccine's potential broader use could be a significant step in containing the outbreak.
