Judges Radzik, Iwaniec and neo-KRS deputy chief charged in hate campaign affair
Poland's new disciplinary ombudsman has charged judges Maciej Radzik, Jacek Iwaniec and the deputy head of the neo-KRS judicial council over their roles in the so-called hate affair — a coordinated smear campaign targeting judges who defended the rule of law under PiS rule. Judge Łukasz Piebiak, who cooperated with Zbigniew Ziobro's Justice Ministry, had previously received similar charges in connection with the same affair.
