EU unlocks nearly €7.9bn in KPO funds for Poland

The European Commission has given a positive assessment of Poland's fifth payment request under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, approving €7.9 billion — nearly 33 billion złoty. The decision comes after Poland fulfilled the required reform milestones attached to the request.
