Boeing sells eVTOL subsidiaries Wisk, SkyGrid to Archer Aviation
Boeing is selling three eVTOL subsidiaries to Archer Aviation, a San Jose-based air taxi company. The acquired firms include Wisk Aero, which has been developing an autonomous electric aircraft, and SkyGrid, which builds air traffic management systems. As part of the deal, Boeing will also receive an undisclosed equity stake in Archer Aviation.
