Giant statue of Our Lady of Mercy to be consecrated in tiny village near Toruń

The village of Konotopie near Toruń, home to fewer than 140 residents, is set to become a significant pilgrimage destination in Poland. On 15 August, a giant statue of Our Lady of Mercy, erected in an open field, will be consecrated and opened to visitors. Organisers expect pilgrims and tourists from across Poland and abroad.
