Iran demands US concessions before reopening Strait of Hormuz and will charge transit fees

Iran's Foreign Ministry has stated that the US must meet Tehran's demands before the Strait of Hormuz is reopened to navigation. Ships transiting through the strait will also be required to pay a fee. The standoff keeps one of the world's most critical shipping lanes under threat.
