GUS data: divorces after 30+ years of marriage on the rise in Poland
The average marriage ending in divorce in Poland lasts about 15 years, according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Over the past 25 years, the share of divorces among long-married couples — including those together for over 30 years — has grown noticeably. Incompatibility of character remains the most commonly cited reason for divorce.
