Prosecutors investigate flood aid grants after WP report — funds allegedly directed to politician's husband and associates

The District Prosecutor's Office in Jelenia Góra launched a preliminary inquiry following an investigative report by Wirtualna Polska, which revealed alleged irregularities in the distribution of targeted flood-relief grants. The funds were reportedly directed to the husband and acquaintances of a Civic Coalition politician rather than to flood victims. The prosecutor's office did not disclose the politician's identity or the amounts involved.
