LOT receives all new Boeings — planes detect storms 600 km away in 3D

Polish airline LOT has completed the delivery of its new Boeing fleet. The aircraft are equipped with advanced radar systems capable of detecting storms from up to 600 km away and scanning them in three dimensions. The technology is designed to significantly improve flight safety by giving pilots earlier warning of dangerous weather.
