Wrocław builds strategic NATO bridge over the Oder — designed for tanks

A planned bridge over the Oder river in Wrocław has been designated a strategic investment for national security by Poland's Ministry of Defence. A former NATO corps spokesman says the bridge would enable military equipment transport to and from the port in the event of an attack from the east. The structure is being designed to withstand the weight of tanks and armoured personnel carriers.
