PPK assets hit PLN 55.9bn — up 40% year on year

The value of assets in Poland's Employee Capital Plans (PPK) reached PLN 55.9 billion at the end of July, up 3.2% from the previous month and roughly 40% year on year, according to the Polish Development Fund. The number of PPK accounts stood at 5.53 million. The strong growth signals rising Polish participation in the voluntary pension savings scheme.
