Lithuania to build Leopard 2A8 assembly and service centre for the region
Finnish construction company YIT will build a facility in Lithuania dedicated to the assembly and servicing of Leopard 2A8 tanks. The plant is intended to become a regional support centre for these armoured vehicles. The investment is part of the broader build-up of defence capabilities in the Baltic region.
