Polish politicians react furiously to flood-aid scandal: 'KO activists are stealing'
Opposition politicians reacted angrily to a Wirtualna Polska investigation into alleged irregularities in the distribution of flood relief funds to businesses. Sławomir Mentzen wrote: "KO activists steal from companies, hospitals and the KPO — why wouldn't they steal from flood victims?" Deputy Defence Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka said that if the findings are confirmed, "it is a scandal and should be fully investigated."
