New frog species discovered in Costa Rica's coffee plantations
Researchers from the University of Costa Rica and Argentina's National Scientific and Technical Research Council have identified a new frog species living on Costa Rican coffee plantations. The amphibian features dark green spots and reaches 4 cm in length. Some sources suggest the coffee frog may have been known in the previous century but has only now been formally classified.
