Taiwan conducted a 30-minute simulated internet disruption to test public and institutional resilience in the face of a potential Chinese attack on its network infrastructure. The exercise assessed how citizens and organisations would cope without internet access. China has previously hinted at the possibility of severing the undersea cables connecting Taiwan to the rest of the world.
