US defence giants fear Ukraine could outproduce them on Patriot missiles

US defence firms Lockheed Martin and Raytheon fear that Ukraine, if granted a licence for Patriot missiles, could improve and mass-produce them faster and far more cheaply than American factories, according to The Atlantic. Analysts say the real obstacle is competitive risk, not just technology security, as Kyiv could achieve significant weapons self-sufficiency.
