Polish hunting law reform targets transparency and animal protection

A citizens' initiative to amend Poland's hunting law is currently gathering signatures. Magdalena Gałkiewicz of the Greens, a member of the initiative committee, says the draft does not abolish hunting but seeks to improve environmental protection, animal welfare and transparency within the Polish Hunting Association. No government over the past 30 years has tackled the existing legal gaps.
