Malawi reach first-ever World Cup as Nigeria eliminated by Cameroon at WAFCON

Malawi have qualified for their first-ever FIFA Women's World Cup after reaching the WAFCON semi-finals as outsiders. Defending champions Nigeria were eliminated by Cameroon. Both Cameroon and Malawi have secured semi-final spots and World Cup berths.
