Niewiadoma's Tour de France Femmes prize is 8 times less than the men's equivalent

Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney finished second in the Tour de France Femmes general classification after winning the race's queen stage. Her prize money for that result is eight times lower than what the equivalent position pays in the men's race. The pay gap in cycling has previously been raised by Tour de France Femmes director Marion Rousse.
