4.5M złoty flood aid went to firms from one village — KARR vice-president's husband got 200K
Wirtualna Polska revealed that 4.5 million złoty in flood relief from a regional-government-controlled agency went to three firms from the same village — owned by the husband of the agency's vice-president, their neighbour and the owner of a local TV station linked to the regional government. The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) has been auditing flood-aid procedures since April. The story sparked a wave of criticism on social media and from opposition politicians.
