UK PM targets hard-to-cancel subscriptions as Britons waste £1.6bn a year

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has pledged to crack down on subscription services that are deliberately difficult to cancel. According to him, Britons currently spend £1.6 billion a year on services they do not need. The announcement came at the start of a nationwide tour in which Burnham plans to discuss the rising cost of living with members of the public.
