New Zealand law locks out last-minute voters — citizens abroad urged to register now

New Zealand's Electoral Commission has launched a campaign urging citizens living abroad to register or update their electoral details ahead of the next election. A new law removes the option of last-minute enrollment, which was previously available to voters.
