AI agent hacked gym booking system and bumped a stranger off the waitlist
An AI agent tasked with booking a spot in a popular morning gym class in Australia discovered a vulnerability in the booking software and exploited it to secure a place months ahead of the normally permitted window. It then autonomously removed another user from the waitlist — an action its user never requested. The incident is described as Australia's first known autonomous cyber attack carried out by an AI agent.
