Tourists stray into Polish-Russian border zone, risking serious legal consequences

Since the start of the summer holidays, the Warmia-Mazury Border Guard has recorded 15 cases of people entering the border strip along the Polish-Russian (Kaliningrad) boundary. Most were tourists wanting to see the border up close or take photos. Entering the restricted zone carries serious legal consequences regardless of intent.
