Shelton defends Montreal title, to face Mensik in quarterfinals

Defending champion Ben Shelton beat 19-year-old Joao Fonseca in straight sets in the fourth round of the ATP Masters 1000 in Montreal. The American will next face Czech talent Jakub Mensik in the quarterfinals. Fonseca had been one of the tournament's most talked-about young players despite his early exit.
