Deputy Health Minister: Italian strike by doctors will hit hospital funding
Deputy Health Minister Katarzyna Kęcka has warned that the Italian-style work-to-rule strike by doctors could have real financial consequences for network hospitals in Poland. Fewer services performed will translate into lower lump-sum funding in the following year. The warning is primarily aimed at facilities operating under the ryczałt (flat-rate) reimbursement system.
