Employers demand experience from junior candidates — entry-level bar rising

The number of entry-level job offers has remained roughly stable for three years, but employer expectations for junior candidates have risen significantly. Companies increasingly demand skills and prior experience even for beginner positions. Breaking into the job market is becoming progressively harder for those without work experience.
