PSL rules out joint election list with Civic Coalition, citing PO's leftward shift

Poland's Polish People's Party (PSL) will not run on a joint list with the Civic Coalition (KO) in next year's parliamentary elections. PSL deputy leader Urszula Pasławska said the party identifies as centrist and conservative, while Civic Platform has "sharply shifted to the left." PSL intends to contest the elections independently.
