US court orders Trump to halt ballroom construction near the White House

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has ordered the Trump administration to halt construction of a ballroom being built adjacent to the White House. The court ruled that every president is a temporary tenant, not the owner, of the White House. Construction had been underway on the grounds near the presidential residence.
