Nigerian army rescues 33 kidnapping victims from gunmen in Zamfara state

The Nigerian army safely rescued 33 people kidnapped by gunmen in the north-western state of Zamfara. The victims were abducted on Saturday while travelling through the region. Zamfara state has long been plagued by armed banditry and mass kidnappings.
