North Korea earned $22bn — regime at its strongest in 35 years

North Korea may have earned up to $22 billion in foreign revenues between 2022 and 2025. The main sources were arms deliveries to Russia, trade with China, and cryptocurrency thefts. The funds are strengthening Kim Jong Un's grip on power and financing his weapons programme, making the regime its most powerful in 35 years.
