Typhoon Dolphin hits China as strongest storm of the year

Typhoon Dolphin, the most powerful tropical cyclone to hit China this year, made landfall on the country's east coast, bringing torrential rain, strong winds and triggering flood and landslide warnings. Before reaching China, the storm swept through Japan's Okinawa prefecture, injuring six people and cutting power to more than 50,000 buildings.
