The European Speedway Championship in the 125cc class, held in Workington, Great Britain, was abandoned after only seven heats — not enough for the event to count as an official result. Polish rider Sawin Turowski was among those left with nothing to show for their efforts. The tournament will likely have to be rescheduled.
