Niewiadoma-Phinney takes second at Tour de France Femmes — Vollering wins overall
Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney launched three attacks on the final climb of the Tour de France Femmes, chasing down an eight-second deficit to leader Demi Vollering, but could not shake the Dutchwoman. Vollering won the final stage and the overall race, while the Polish rider finished second — the fifth time in her career she has reached the final podium at this event.
