Łomża: Four-year-old falls from fifth-floor balcony — mother found drunk asleep

A four-year-old girl fell from a fifth-floor balcony in Łomża while her mother slept in a drunken state. Neighbours reacted quickly and spread out a blanket to cushion the child's fall, preventing serious injury. Both the girl and her mother were taken to a hospital in Białystok.
