Iga Świątek reached the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto by defeating Ukraine's Marta Kostiuk in the last 16. After losing the first set, the Polish player raised her game and took more risks — a move she credited as decisive. Świątek said the key was being willing to "leave her comfort zone".
