Warsaw's Vistula hits record low of 102 cm — worse forecast ahead
The water level on the Vistula at the Warsaw-Bulwary gauging station dropped to just 102 cm on Friday, an all-time record low. Poland's hydrological crisis is deepening, and experts from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) warn that levels could fall even further at the turn of August and September. Conditions seen in September 2025 may be repeated and worsened.
