Salac wins British GP Moto2; leader González celebrates a lap too early, finishes 14th

Filip Salac claimed his first-ever Moto2 victory at the British Grand Prix on Silverstone. The race was overshadowed by a costly error from championship leader Manuel González, who began celebrating his supposed win a lap too early. After losing the lead and colliding with another rider, the Spaniard finished 14th.
