Trump signs new executive orders targeting birthright citizenship

US President Donald Trump has signed two new executive orders targeting birthright citizenship, guaranteed by the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. This is another attempt by the Trump administration to curtail the principle. Previous efforts to restrict birthright citizenship were blocked by courts.
