Specialist doctor received 1,000 zł less take-home pay after July's "raise"

A haematologist employed at a clinic revealed that after July's statutory minimum pay rise for specialist doctors, his net salary dropped by around 1,000 zł compared to June. The hospital raised the base pay but simultaneously scrapped his bonus, resulting in a real income decrease. The doctor described the outcome as a financial blow rather than a reward.
