Drought and heat devastate raspberry harvest; deliveries down 80% in some areas
This year's raspberry season has been exceptionally difficult, with prolonged drought, frosts and extreme heat severely limiting yields. In some collection points, deliveries are down as much as 80 percent compared to last year. Despite higher purchase prices, growers are disappointed, as damaged fruit and low volumes do not offset their losses, according to farmer Łukasz Cielma.
