Pensioners earning online must report extra income to ZUS in some cases
Seniors can supplement their pension by selling goods online, running social media channels or offering remote services, but some types of extra income must be reported to ZUS, Poland's social insurance institution. The obligation arises mainly when a pensioner runs a registered business or works under a contract subject to contributions. Ignoring the requirement can lead to a reduction or suspension of their pension.
