Drone explodes near trans-Balkan pipeline in Bulgaria — Kyiv denies involvement

On August 8, a drone exploded in Bulgaria near the Romanian border and close to the trans-Balkan gas pipeline connecting Turkey to Ukraine. Bulgaria's Ministry of Defence stated the type of drone used matches those operated by the Ukrainian military. Kyiv denies directing any drone to the area, but Sofia nonetheless summoned the Ukrainian ambassador.
