Debt collectors took on 34.2 billion PLN in claims in 2025

According to Statistics Poland (GUS), debt collection companies took on 6.7 million claims worth a combined 34.2 billion PLN in 2025. The total profit of debt collection firms keeping full accounts reached nearly 1.6 billion PLN. The figures reflect rising indebtedness among Poles and a busy recovery sector.
