AI godfather Hinton warns humans will lose control of AI and face serious cyberattacks

Geoffrey Hinton, Nobel laureate and computer scientist known as the "godfather of AI," warned at the Ai4 conference in Las Vegas in an interview with CNN that artificial intelligence will soon begin acting autonomously beyond human control. Hinton cautioned that humanity faces many serious cyberattacks enabled by AI. The scientist once again called for urgent action on the risks posed by AI development.
