US to build 20 underground ammunition bunkers in Norway — over 1,300 tonnes of explosives

The United States plans to build 20 underground ammunition bunkers in southern Norway capable of storing over 1,300 tonnes of explosives, according to Norwegian newspaper Moss Avis. The US State Department has also approved the sale of American artillery ammunition to Norway for $270 million. The investment is part of broader NATO efforts to strengthen military stockpiles in Europe.
