Pentagon relieves US Army Europe commander General Costanza without explanation

General Charles Costanza, who has overseen US Army operations in Europe since April 2024, was relieved of command of the V Corps on Friday, the Pentagon announced. The decision came less than two months before his contract was due to expire, and no reasons were given. It is the latest in a series of personnel changes at the top of the US military.
